Please join us on Thursday, May 20th at 8 p.m. Eastern for a community webinar featuring a panel of health care experts and trans leaders on the importance of getting vaccinated when it is your turn! The emergence of three approved vaccines in the U.S. means we are one step closer to ending the pandemic. NCTE knows how it important it is for our community to be healthy and protected from the virus. Unfortunately, we also know that there are genuine fears associated with accessing health care as a trans person, like discrimination and disrespect. Our community has also been exposed to vaccine disinformation which might deter us from getting this life-saving resource. This webinar seeks to dispel the fears, myths, and concerns surrounding the vaccines and empower our entire community to get vaccinated and help our entire country stay safe and healthy!

This webinar will feature D Ojeda, NCTE Health Policy Advocate (they/them), Bamby Salcedo (she/her), President and CEO of The TransLatin@ Coalition, Steph DeNormand (they/them), Trans Health Program Manager at Fenway Health, Elsbet Servay (she/hers), Immunization Clinical Director at Callen-Lorde Community Health Center. The event will be moderated by Sean McCarthy (he/they), NCTE Development Manager.

We look forward to you joining us!
